Haggis is a hit at Burns Night

Almost 80 Members enjoyed a fabulous evening at the annual Burns Night dinner.

Hamish, the Piper, had his bag fully aired as the bagpipes rung out to welcome guests and parade the 'wreaking' Haggis.

Ken Maliphant gave a humorous insight into the life and times of the troubled poet, Captain Alex did his diplomatic best to talk about Burns and the 'Lassies', whilst Ladies Captain Michelle gave an equally response and proposed a toast to the 'Laddies'

Everyone enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner, with the 'Haggis Bon Bon's' starter being a particular hit.

Guests then retired to the lounge to put on a fine display of uncoordinated Scottish dancing, much to the dismay of musical maestro and caller, Frank Reid.

Good fun had by all!
