Sundridge Park ladies win Kent 4-somes for 5th time
On Sunday 13 September 2015 Janet Ball and Tita McCart win the Holland trophy, Kent 4-somes KO (off handicap) at Gillingham 3 and 2. Janet and Tita have now won the trophy 5 times since 1990.
During the summer they had to win 5 rounds to reach the final v Mid Kent. Never having played at Gillingham before they played a practice round on Thursday, which was pivotal in playing well today. The course was in an excellent condition with the greens running pure and true.
Janet and Tita like to thank their caddies, Bassey Dunbar and Sharon Brooks, who ensured they kept calm and focused. Also thanks go to our supporters.
