Fantastic Ladies Captain's Swansong - 20th October 2018
Rose's Ladies Captain's Breakfast at Tiffany's themed Swansong took place on Saturday 20th October - what a superb evening and a fitting tribute to Rose's great Captaincy year - capped off by Rose donating a cheque to Alzheimers Society from monies raised for her Captains Charity - an amazing amount of £27,000 - more than 120 people attended the evening with a excellent 5 course meal - and many thanks to Simon and Arun and their staffs for the superb evening - after past Men's Captain Tony spoke glowing about Rose's superb Captaincy year - Rose then presented the Alzheimers Society with a cheque for £27,000 raised by SPGC members in support of Rose's chosen charity - we were then entertained by the Jersey Boys Tribute act - 'The Other Guys' as well as a Rose and Paul Jackson performing a duet to Moon River - great evening and wonderful tribute to Rose's great year - many thanks to new Social organiser Colin and Catherine Murray
