Bradley Cook team triumphs at Lamberhurst

Sharon and Christine, our Bradley Cook team captains, report on an excellent win yesterday in the prestigious Kent scratch team competition: 

The Bradley Cook team of Kim, Nancy, Terri, Ingrid and Karen performed fantastically well at Lamberhurst, to defeat Canterbury and bring the trophy back to Sundridge.
It was a long day, caused by numerous delays on the course, sometimes we had three groups waiting on the par 3’s.
Amazingly the girls were able to keep their focus and get the three wins we required.
This has been a real squad effort throughout the year, so well done to Tita, Anne-Marie, Ainee, Janet and Liz who helped get us to finals day.
The caddies Tony, Sandra, Jude, Michelle and Anne-Marie all did a fabulous job in keeping their players calm in frustrating circumstances.
We also enjoyed tremendous support on the day from Stuart, Tracey, Paddy, Jackie, Lyn, Bassey, Ali, Clive, Rachel Martin, Richard Martin and Anthony Bischoff.
In fact our sea of red became an ocean, as Canterbury and Wrotham Heath also have red as their team colours.
It really has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to interact with so many talented, and committed players, caddies and supporters.
Thanks also go to Ben and Simon at Sundridge who have supported and assisted the team throughout the year.
A very satisfying end to the 2018 campaign.
