Tita McCart wins the International Dutch Senior Open 2018

In the final round Tita made it very exciting by losing shots on the front 9 which gave Emmy Engel (the eventual runner-up) to get level after 9. However, David, Tita's husband and caddy, said 'let's focus now'. From then on Tita played the back 9 in level par securing the win.

The tournament was held at the Rosendaelsche Golf Club near Arnhem and considering the hot weather was in a fantastic condition. The pins set out by the Dutch Golf Federation were very challenging to say the least.

It was the 2nd time the IDSO was at held at the Rosendaelsche, the first time was in 2012 when Tita won as well.

It was a nice bounce back from coming 2nd in the recent Dutch national strokeplay championship played in June at the Edese Golf Club. Tita lead by 1 shot going up 18, but unfortunately hit a bad drive leading to a double bogey and losing the championship.

Well done Tita!
