Sundridge Park ladies win the Kent Bradley Cook trophy

A fantastic result from the Bradley Cook Final held at West Kent on Sunday 4th October 2015. The team of: Tita McCart, Kim Morris, Ainee O’Connor, Rachel Martin, Nancy O’Connor and reserves Janet Ball and Ingrid Long, beat North Foreland 5-0.  The team were supported by our faithful caddies: Sharon Brooks, Pat Purser, Sandra Nadin, Bassey Dunbar and Paddy O’Connor.

Our supporters again were out in force and were treated not only to some excellent golf, but also a lovely sunny day. 

The Bradley Cook is the Kent 5-a-side Scratch Team Knock-Out match-play competition. We started our campaign in the round robin matches in April and progressed to the knock out stages of the championship and defeated Canterbury at home and away.  In the semi finals we were matched against Nizels, and again, some excellent results by the team, resulted in a win to put Sundridge in the finals. 

The trophy was presented by the Kent Ladies Captain, Ingrid Long, a fitting end, as her reign at the helm is about to come to an end.
