Sundridge hosts Star Studded Variety Day
The sun was shining on players and spectators as the Club proudly hosted the 2021 Variety Golf Ladies Tour Pro-am.
The tournament was a complete sell out with 25 teams and we had 4 Solheim Cup players – Dame Laura Davies, Trish Johnson, Alison Nicholas, Becky Brewerton plus many LET tournament winners.
The winning team with a score of 87 points winning by 1 shot was captained by the Professional Annabel Dimmock, Anthony Trafford, Saleem Chaudhry and Ian Irving and the winning Professional with a terrific score of 69 (-2) was the young LET star Gabriella Cowley
The events was very kindly sponsored by several Variety and Sundridge Park GC members – Alex Yazdani, Peter Godfrey, Rob Sargent, Nick Dible and Tony Negal - and a Variety Sunshine Coach bearing the Sundridge Park name and crest was presented on the day to a local special needs school - The Drumbeat School in Lewisham.
