Ladies Captain's Charity Golf Day - another spectacular SPGC Golf Day
My Charity Golf Fun Day went extremely well on Friday. I am so overwhelmed and pleased by the support from our membership and to have raised over £10K was beyond and above my expectations!
We were so lucky with the beautiful, perfect weather which will always “kickstart” the day off to a success. The day continued to be a roaring success with the World Cup theme and everyone got into the spirit with wearing team colours.
Having a replica signed World Cup by Ossie Ardiles and Ricardo Villa added to the excitement of the day. Along with a World Cup winner Ossie Ardiles and football legends Ray Clemence and Paul Miller playing on our beautiful East Course. They had never played SPGC but had heard many good reports about our club. All of them really did enjoy the course, the clubhouse and the food. They all want to come back and play the West. Ray told me that he loved the relaxed atmosphere of our members and club!
I can’t thank you all enough and on Friday “Sundridge Park Golf Club and The Alzheimer’s Society were united against Dementia”
Thank you to Shela Maine-Wyncol, Lyn Baimbridge and Sandra Nadin for doing such a wonderful job of welcoming my guests. To Ben Price for being there to help set up and to Ben Riley and Simon Wood for helping with the cards and as always to Jo for all her help and assistance.

Nicky Dible for bringing along the fantastic auctioneer, the boxing legend John Conteh, who had everyone laughing and bidding!
Tony Negal for bringing along the amazing, mind boggling magician David Redfearn who entertained everyone and left them with the wow factor!
Thank you David Brenes for being our resident photographer and capturing the teams with the World Cup trophy.
Compliments to our amazing chef Simon and staff, To Arun, Sumon and Staff who worked tirelessly on the day.....thank you all so much.
