Ladies London Foursomes 2018

I have the pleasure this year in reporting on this prestigious scratch golf tournament held at the Berkshire Golf Club every year in March. 

Two of our great golfers Tita McCart and Kim Morris represented Sundridge Park Golf club and not only did I have the honour along with Michelle Quinlan in caddying for our ladies, but we got to see some fantastic golf from our duo!

Friday morning was the start of the tournament with 64 teams entered. Playing on the Blue course we were drawn against the runners up for the past few years, Royal Mid Surrey, both scratch golfers. So as you can imagine a very tough match, but Sundridge Park shone through with some amazing shots and putts to clinch the win on the 18th! After a little sit down, our ladies were up and raring to go again for the next match playing on the Red Course drawn against Dulwich & Sydenham, unfortunately the ladies didn't really have a chance with Tita and Kim on top of their game, winning 8&7.  

Unfortunately, today it was not meant to be as Tita and Kim lost out to Burhill, but I have to say a huge well done to them both for getting through to the final 16 and I’m already looking forward to next year! 

The support from Sundridge Park members never fails and it was lovely to see a great following. So thank you to Michelle for caddying and to our loyal supporters Sandra and Wally Nadin, Jude and Ali Mackenzie, Stuart Quinlan, Alex Yazdani, Christine Edgar and Tony Johnson.
