Lady Captain Swansong

Saturday night saw the Lady Captain’s Swansong event – more than 150 people attended this great evening – The Gatsby theme for the night made for a relaxed feel to the night and some great photos at the Gatsby Photo booth – the evening was a fitting tribute to Elaine’s Captaincy year and Elaine was delighted to present a cheque for £18,200 to her chosen charity of the year – Marlborough School. The Food was great and then we were entertained by Fil Straughan as Luther Van Dross and the Life of Brian Band – both acts were superb and will hopefully be making appearances at Sundridge again soon

Many thanks must go to Ian and Arun and their staffs and to new social organiser Paul Jackson as well as Johnny Mack who booked the acts – but most thanks must go to Elaine and Tony for such an amazing year
